Spatiqon WebGIS is an original SinoCloud product, developed by dott. Sarino Alfonso Grande — GIS Analyst, Python developer and QGIS trainer. The platform is aimed at Public Administrations, Municipalities, technical firms and GIS professionals.

From GeoFusion to Spatiqon
The project was originally called GeoFusion and was built around the open source frameworks Lizmap and G3W-Suite for publishing GIS on the web. Today it has evolved into Spatiqon: a proprietary framework that integrates and orchestrates those systems into a single platform.

Spatiqon replaces an ecosystem of separate software: QGIS Desktop for editing, a GeoServer for distribution, WebODM for photogrammetry, AI tools, cadastral data and municipal management software — all in a single web interface.

Every module is accessible directly from the web interface with no additional software. The modules talk to each other: a raster analysis can become a layer, a computed route can be saved as a vector, a drone orthophoto can be imported and analyzed in real time.

Technology stack
Docker containerized architecture built on established open-source components. Orchestrated with Docker Compose on Ubuntu 22/24/26 or Debian 12. NVIDIA GPU support for geospatial AI.
The UX patterns for the MapLibre globe, multi-map split view and command palette are inspired by GeoLibre, an MIT open-source project by opengeos/Qiusheng Wu, reinterpreted within the Spatiqon Flask + PyQGIS + Leaflet/PostGIS architecture.
Transparency on open-source components
Spatiqon is a proprietary SinoCloud platform based on open-source components: the table lists the license of each software component used internally. Access to Spatiqon itself is not licensed out: SinoCloud provides it as a subscription service, with activation, a defined duration and renewal — not as a sale or transfer of code.
