How to Receive Remote Assistance

Follow these simple steps to connect with our technical support

1

Download the Assistance Software

Download our secure custom client. No installation required.

The file is a secure stand-alone executable, pre-configured to connect to my systems.
2

Running the App and Security Warnings

Since we use custom software, Windows or your antivirus might show a security warning (False Positive). Here's how to proceed:

If the blue "Windows protected your PC" screen appears:

  1. Click on "More info" (usually small, on the left)
  2. A new button will appear at the bottom
  3. Click "Run anyway"

If your antivirus blocks the file:

  1. The file is completely safe (based on open source RustDesk)
  2. Temporarily pause your antivirus or add the file to exceptions
  3. If the browser blocks the download, select "Keep" or "Keep anyway" in the download options

Step-by-Step Guide for Android:

  1. Installation: Download and open the .APK file. If prompted, allow installation from "Unknown sources".
  2. Control Permission (Input): On startup, click "Share Screen" or "Input Control". This will take you to the Accessibility Settings:
    Go to Installed ServicesRustDeskENABLE.
  3. Video Permission: Return to the app. It will ask "Start recording or casting with RustDesk?".
    Click START NOW.
  4. Overlay Permission: If prompted, grant permission to draw over other apps.
  5. Ready: You should now see the "Service Started" message and your ID.
Samsung/Xiaomi/Oppo: Menus may vary slightly. Always search for "RustDesk" under Accessibility or Installed Services.
3

Find Your ID

Once RustDesk is running, you'll see the main screen with your unique ID:

Your ID XXX XXX XXX

This is the 9-digit number you'll need to give me to receive assistance

Important: Never share your ID with unknown people. Only share the ID once you've agreed on an assistance session with me.
4

Send Me Your ID

Contact me through one of the following channels and give me the ID number shown on RustDesk:

Once I receive your ID, I'll send you a connection request. You'll need to click "Accept" to authorize the session.
5

During the Session

During remote assistance you'll be able to:

  • See everything I do on your screen
  • End the session at any time by clicking "Disconnect"
  • Communicate with me via the built-in chat
  • Transfer files if needed

Your security is guaranteed: The connection is encrypted and you always retain full control of your computer.
