Personal data is processed using electronic and/or paper-based tools, adopting security measures suitable to guarantee the confidentiality of the data. Processing is carried out at the Controller's registered office and at any other location where the parties involved in the processing are based.

Personal data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specifically:

  • Contact data: up to 2 years from the last contact
  • Contractual data: 10 years for tax obligations
  • Technical cookies: duration of the session
  • Analytics cookies: not used (the statistics use no cookies)

9. Third-Party Services and Specific Tools

This website uses third-party services and specific tools to provide advanced features:

  • Traffic Statistics (Self-Hosted): The website counts the number of visits to each page (page, date and time) and, in aggregate form, the country and city of origin, on the Controller's server and without third-party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). Country and city are derived from the IP address on the server, at the time of the visit, with the DB-IP Lite database: the IP address is not stored or sent to third parties and only a counter is recorded (e.g. "10/10, Italy, Cosenza: 12 visits"); the coordinates used for the map are those of the city, not of the visitor. Referral source, device, time on page and browser identifiers are not recorded. Legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest in knowing, in aggregate form, how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Personal data collected by the previous system (until 10 October 2026) has been deleted.
  • Site and WebGIS ratings: to record a 1-5 rating we ask for an email address, stored on the Controller's server with the rating, date, page and optional comment. The email is used only to keep track of ratings and prevent duplicate or abusive votes; it is not used to send messages and is not shared with third parties. The IP address is not stored. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). For access or deletion write to info@sinocloud.it.
  • Access request for the SPATIQON demo from abroad: the demo (demo.spatiqon.sinocloud.it) is reserved for visitors with an Italian IP address. Visitors from abroad can send a request: name, email, organisation, country, reason and IP address are used only to evaluate the request and reply, and are kept only as long as needed for this purpose. The country of the IP is determined on the server with the DB-IP Lite database, without sending the address to third parties.
  • Usercentrics: Cookie consent management.
  • TrustPilot: Widget for displaying verified reviews.
  • Telegram Widget & Call: Interacting with the chat widget or the call button redirects you to the Telegram platform. Use of these features is subject to Telegram's privacy policy.
  • Remote Assistance (RustDesk): The remote assistance service is provided through a self-hosted instance of the open-source RustDesk software, hosted directly on the Controller's systems. No video or remote-control data passes through third-party servers, ensuring full sovereignty and confidentiality of the session.
  • Google Fonts, Font Awesome & Bootstrap Icons: Used for displaying fonts and icons, loaded from Google's servers (Google Fonts) and from content delivery networks (Cloudflare/jsDelivr CDN) of Font Awesome and Bootstrap Icons. Loading these scripts may involve transmitting the user's IP address to the respective providers.
  • Google Calendar (Appointment Booking): The "Book a Call" page embeds a Google Calendar booking form via iframe. By interacting with the calendar, the data entered (name, email, time) is processed directly by Google LLC according to its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time. Users are invited to periodically check this page to stay updated on any changes.
