GeoBridgeIT connects QGIS to the VerTo Online service of the Italian Military Geographic Institute (IGM), automating the conversion of coordinates and vector layers between the main reference systems used in Italy: ETRS89, RDN2008, Roma40 and ED50. No manual steps on external portals: simply select the layer, choose the target system, and the conversion happens directly within the QGIS project.

The plugin is distributed as an unofficial client: the author claims no rights over IGM data and services, which remain the exclusive property of the Italian Military Geographic Institute.
